Campanian-style cup with a view of the town and castle of Loket (Elbogen); inscription: Vue d´Elbogen. Following a period in which porcelain objects painted with various Classical allegories were popular, tastes turned towards romantically coloured souvenirs holding memories of specific places, landscapes, or buildings the visitor had visited in person. The form and ornamentation of the cup corresponds to the Late Empire period.
